Revista Chilena de Psicologia 3(2): 117-123, 1980.
Abstract: Demonstrates, through use of a case report, some of the concepts and tools of the neurolinguistic programming approach recently developed by R. Bandler and J. Grinder (1975, 1979). A brief theoretical introduction is followed by a few basic techniques that are applied to the case described. These tools include therapeutic metaphor, reframing, polarity integration, and guided fantasy. The use of this treatment was highly effective, as indicated by the amount of treatment needed (12 sessions) and the lasting results after a 5-mo follow-up.
