Abstract: For many years, C. Stein's (1963) clenched fist technique has been a valuable therapeutic tool. By combining it with the Neuro-Linguistic Programming approaches of installing belief and rapid trance, it can be made even more powerful. Case studies illustrating how this combined method might be used include that of a public servant having difficulties with promotion interviews, a real estate saleswoman suffering from lack of confidence, and a minister of religion struggling with loss of faith.
