Abstract: Describes a technique that was used to reduce an anxiety reaction about mathematics in a learning disabled 6th-grade boy named Epy. Anchoring, a neurolinguistic programming technique was used, whereby an association was created by a touch on the back of the S's hand and a previous positive experience.
